During these multi-day sessions, we’ll explore character development, setting, plot, and planning / drafting. Every writer has a unique process, their own way into and through a story. This is the place to explore different strategies and techniques to see what works, and doesn’t, for you. 

Some writers may leave these multi-day workshops with notebook pages full of story ideas, some might leave with a fully developed character, or a detailed world, and some might leave with a draft of a short story or chapter. What I hope is that every writer leaves, each day, with something they are excited to work more on at home. Writers are welcome to email with BIG ideas or questions between meetings!

Throughout the sessions, we’ll participate in writing activities, engage with some fun prompts, share our ideas with writing partners, and learn various ways that authors make their stories engaging to their audience. On the final day, we’ll celebrate with a short reading by each author.

**While we may practice similar strategies in each Multi-day Creative Writing Workshop, all warm-ups, prompts, and writing exercises will be new. So, if your writer wants to register for more than one month, they can expect fresh content!
